Do you think Iman Vellani, or Ms. Marvel, is going to be in Avengers: Doomsday?
The Avengers: Doomsday trailer recently came out, revealing quite a few familiar faces. Casting announcements that started in 2024 confirmed appearances including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Wyatt Russell, Simu Liu, Ian McKellen, Tom Hiddleston, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Joseph Quinn, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Alan Cumming, Hannah John-Kamen, and Rebecca Romijn, amongst many others.
But with the first official trailer, Iman Villani is nowhere to be seen. While she is not expected to be part of the main cast of this movie, she is supposed to still be in the movie. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a glimpse of her in the trailer.
Vellani was last seen setting up the Young Avengers in The Marvels post-credits scene that she was in with Hailee Steinfeld (Hawkeye). In case you didn’t see it, Vellani approaches Steinfeld and says she is getting together a team – supposedly referring to the Young Avengers, with rumors that they’re going to be in Doomsday.
So if Ms. Marvel is the driving force of the “Young Avengers”, where is she? Is she going to be in Doomsday? I hope so!
The other person I was keeping an eye out for in the Avengers: Doomsday trailer was Kumail Nanjiani (Eternals). There wasn’t a lot of hope, but there was a sliver. There were supposed to be more movies with the Eternals characters, but nothing has been announced as yet, and all we can do is wonder what will happen to those characters.
In the meantime, we can keep an eye out for any signs of Iman Vellani in Avengers Doomsday. What do you think? Do you think she will show up? Who are you hoping to see in Doomsday?
