This year’s Her Universe Fashion Show showcased designs that displayed the power of fashion. Ashley Echkstein, founder of Her Universe greeted fans in a She-Ra and the Princesses of Power inspired design by Andrew Maclain that featured an inspiring on stage transformation. The first of many exciting reveals featured in the show this year.
There was fashion, competition, and exciting announcements including a new collection inspired by Disney’s Haunted Mansion that should be out on the fall of this year. Boxlunch is debuting the Power Puff Girls inspired collection designed by the winners of 2018’s junior designer competition today as well.
This year’s judges’ winner was Adria Renee with her Jurassic Park-inspired design. Sarah Hambly designed a Loki-inspired look that won her the audience’s choice award. The two of them will be designing a Wonder Woman collection for Her Universe.
The designs from this year’s winners and previous shows will be displayed at the Comic Con Museum in Balboa Park for the duration of the con.
