Melissa McCarthy has played a law enforcement types before, from The Heat with Sandra Bullock to her role in Spy, but she’s yet to parter with a muppet. Yup, you read that right.
Based on the red-band trailer (below) The Happytime Murders is a raunchy film in the vain of Team America or Avenue Q. As fans of both the filthy puppet genre, and McCarthy herself, the FANVERSATION team is looking forward to summer!

The cast also includes Maya Rudolph, Joel McHale and Elizabeth Banks.
