“Ultimately Real Estate is about people” – Sean Conlon
CNBC’s new reality series, The Deed, premieres Wednesday, March 1st at 10pm. Hosted by Sydney Torres and Sean Conlon, The Deed explores the side of real estate that most property shows ignore. It’s “an unflinching look at how fortunes are really made in the unpredictable and cutthroat world of real estate flipping and development.”
Stars of the eight-episode series, which is currently casting a second season, discuss some of the biggest mistakes made in real estate, including overpaying for a location and not preparing for something to go wrong. “If it can go wrong, it will” Conlon reminds audiences.
What sets this show apart from other “flipping” shows is that problems aren’t solved by the next commercial break. The hosts confirm that not every episode gets a happy ending.
