It all started with a big bang, but The Big Bang Theory‘s latest spin-off is determined to make sure the universe doesn’t all come to an end. Stuart Fails to Save the Universe is the next chapter in TBBT franchise, but seems to be the most out of this world premise.
Kevin Sussman reprises his TBBT role as comic book store owner Stuart Bloom, who “is tasked with restoring reality after he breaks a device built by Sheldon and Leonard, accidentally bringing about a multiverse Armageddon. Stuart is aided in this quest by [The Big Bang Theory alums] his girlfriend Denise (Lauren Lapkus), geologist friend Bert (Brian Posehn), and quantum physicist/all-around pain in the ass Barry Kripke (John Ross Bowie). Along the way, they meet alternate-universe versions of characters we’ve come to know and love from The Big Bang Theory. As the title implies, things don’t go well.”
