Since meeting Sage in the first book of the Twisted Roses series, I’ve been waiting for his story and Cold Hard Truth did not disappoint. Specifically, I loved the format of this book – particularly compared to how the first book revealed secrets through flashbacks – allowing me as a reader to jump into the past before getting to the present. With such a strong and free-spirited character like Lyla, Cold Hard Truth absolutely delivered a love worthy of Sage.
