The theme of this year’s Her Universe Fashion Show was “Coming Home”. Ashley Eckstein and first-time co-host Drag Queen Nina West welcomed all of the fashion needs back for the first in-person event since 2019.
They showcased the newest collections from Her Universe and the winners of 2021’s virtual event before the competition got underway. Entrants in this year’s show were once again competing for a chance to design a collection for Her Universe and Hot Topic. The entries were, as always, amazing and original. Dresses and suits based on a huge variety of fandoms from Scream to Encanto to the Matrix.
The winners were Cindy Guillermo Heselton and Michael Burson. They will be working on a collection for Marvel’s upcoming film The Marvels.
