We’re finally back in San Diego for SDCC! Warner Brothers Discovery is bringing back a classic with a Game of Thrones themed “offsite” open Thursday, July 21 through Sunday, July 24. If you can’t get in to Hall H to see the panel for HBO’s House of the Dragon, the prequel series to Game of Thrones, you may still have the chance to immerse yourself in the show by visiting “House of the Dragon: The Dragon’s Den” right across from the convention center at the MLK Promenade.
As you approach the activation you won’t be able to miss the elaborate castle facade. Once admitted you will be transported to Westeros where you will choose a dragon egg and attend a sacred dragon hatching ceremony before visiting the Targaryen throne room where guests will have a chance to sit upon the iron throne (this time with even more swords).
If you have a chance to visit the Dragon’s Den you will be granted early access to a virtual hatchery where you can finally hatch your own dragon! Don’t forget to download the House of the Dragon: DracARys AR app so that you can continue to raise your dragon hatchling after you are back in San Diego.
