Amazon’s new teen-drama adventure series, The Wilds, premieres today. The Wilds follows 8 teen women of various backgrounds as they find themselves stranded on an island after a plane crash, which audiences quickly discover was no accident. Told they were heading to an empowerment retreat, the women must learn to work together if they hope to survive.
To celebrate the premiere, Amazon invited press to their Slumber Party event, – essentially what “Dawn of Eve” was supposed to be (the retreat the girls thought they were going to before the crash) – which included tutorials from wellness experts/influencers Andrea Amez, Kirsty Godso, Dajana Radovanovic, Doniella Davy, and Christine Doan, a live performance from Empress Of, and DJ Amrit. For more show specific content, host Nana Agyemang spoke with actors from the series, along with writers and producers to get their insight on creating such a dynamic drama.
