REVIEW: Little – Starring Regina Hall, Issa Rae, and Marsai Martin

Little, starring Regina Hall, Issa Rae and Marsai Martin, hits theaters this weekend. The feel good comedy tells the story of Jordan Sanders – a tech boss and bully – who is turned into a 13 version of herself (read the opposite of 13 Going on 30, and Big) to discover the importance of being true to yourself.

Performances by Issa Rae and Marsai Martin were phenomenal, as was Regina Hall as the bossy and cold Jordan Sanders. Although rated PG-13, the movie was perfectly clean and holds a great message for young people. The highlight of the movie was Issa Rae’s comedic timing and delivery, as well as an unexpected musical number performed by Marsai Martin.

Take your tweens and hit the theaters for a heart-filled comedy. Watch the trailer here.

Little opens everywhere April 15th.
