Just before the 70th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, which will air Monday, September 17th and are hosted by SNL’s Colin Jost and Michael Che, came the Celebrity Connected gifting suite. Many Emmy nominated actors and producers were on the scene, from Fuller House cast members to GLOW’s Jackie Tohn, even influencers, actor Joseph Reitman from SYFY’s Happy! and Steven Weber.
The intimate event took place in Millennium Biltmore Hotel’s beautiful Crystal Ballroom. As with most of these events, there were plenty of beauty brands on hand, including Kadee Botanicals from Australia, Bee Waxed Cosmetics, and Respekt Co. which hails from San Francisco. Each brand touted their all natural, vegan, and cruelty free products from Body Lotion (Kadee) to Scrubs (Bee Waxed) to Facial Sheet Masks and Mists (Respekt).
But they weren’t the only ones with beauty on the mind. Sheree Cosmetics was handing out lipstick samples and telling their story. It seems while many little girls were dreaming of becoming teachers and astronauts, little Tiffany Sheree Hudson Herrmann was dreaming of selling makeup. Recently seen at NYFW, Sheree Cosmetic products come in smudge-proof lipsticks, glitter eyeshadows, and eyelashes that are reusable up to 40 times. See more products here.
If beauty isn’t your jam, Jade J handed out portable phone chargers to talent, along with earbuds. (Full disclosure, we were not provided a sample of these chargers and cannot speak to their effectiveness.) Social networking app Sportamix was signing up users to their app which connects athletes with coaches, providing young athletes a chance to be seen by coaches that may not otherwise find them.
Finally, the most entertainingly brilliant product at Celebrity Connected’s Emmy’s event was the Buttress Pillow. That’s right, a pillow shaped like a butt providing supportive sleep to back sleepers, side sleepers, and even those who sleep on their stomach. This ergonomic design is 100% Premium Natural Latex, refined directly from tree sap, as well as 100% biodegradable, enviro-friendly and ethically made.
And don’t miss the 70th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, Monday Sept 17th at 5pm ET.
