REVIEW: The Voice – Season 13 Episode 14 "The Knockouts – Part 3"

It’s the final night of Knockouts on The Voice, and Kelly Clarkson is still on hand to mentor the last 3 pairings. Here’s how the night went down:

Team Jennifer

Chris Weaver vs. Katrina Rose

Yael’s Notes: Look, I’ve been a fan of Chris Weaver since the premiere episode, but I wasn’t ready for Katrina to leave yet. I believe that while Chris will make it to the end (if not win the whole show), Katrina has a career ahead of her. It’s especially hard to see Katrina go since she was a steal – meaning she’s been let go twice. Guess these judges don’t see as much potential in her as I do.

Team Blake

Red Marlow vs. Megan Rose

Yael’s Notes: I would’ve been fine with both of these singers getting the ax, especially if it meant we could bring back Katrina.

Team Adam

Anthony Alexander vs. Hannah Mrozak

Steal: Hannah Mrozak to Team Jennifer

Yael’s Notes: I thought Anthony Alexander’s performance was super weak – it felt like a blind audition with his unsteady voice and nervous sound. And then Hannah took on “Love on the Brain” and ROCKED it! You could feel the pain and sensuality of this song in every note. Another disappointing vote for the final night of Knockouts. Luckily, Jennifer saw Hannah’s potential and stole her for the team that deserves her voice.
