FIRST LOOK: Doctor Who – Meet Season 8’s Two New Character – Danny & Ms. Delphox Join Doctor Who Season 8

Doctor Who fans have barely met the new Doctor, played by Peter Capaldi, yet he’s already getting new friends to join him and Clara as they explore time and space. Samuel Anderson and Keeley Hawes join the new season of Doctor Who as Danny Pink and Ms. Delpohox (respectively).

Samuel Anderson (The History Boys, Gavin & Stacey) is set to join the cast of Doctor Who as a recurring character in the new season, which will also introduce Peter Capaldi as the Doctor to millions of viewers. Anderson will play Danny Pink, a teacher at Coal Hill School where companion Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) also teaches when the series returns to BBC AMERICA later this year.

Keeley Hawes (Line of Duty, Upstairs Downstairs) will join the cast of Doctor Who, starring opposite the Doctor. Hawes will play Ms. Delphox, a powerful out of this world character with a dark secret. Traveling across space and time, the Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi) and his companion, Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman), will come face to face with the mysterious Ms. Delphox when they arrive on a strange and puzzling planet.

 Doctor Who returns to BBC America later this year.
