Seth MacFarlane’s “controversial” new live-action comedy series, Dads, has premiered on FOX. If you haven’t seen the pilot episode yet, then… well, this isn’t really spoilery. The pilot episode is actually just an explanation of the show’s premise: Seth Green (Eli) & Giovanni Ribisi (Warner) star as childhood friends who run a gaming startup, but their “relatively stable lives get turned upside down when their inappropriate and pain-in-the-neck patriarchs move in.”

In the pilot episode the boys are about to sign a big deal with Chinese business men (which leads to the “controversial” part of the show where Eli’s assistant Veronica, played by Brenda Song, dresses up like an Asian schoolgirl) until Eli’s father interferes and ruins the deal. Luckily, everything works out because the businessmen’s interpreter sexts a cock-pic to Veronica who uses it to blackmail them into signing the original deal.
Hopefully next week’s episode is actually funny, or controversial for that matter. Catch Dads, Tuesday nights on FOX… until it gets canceled.
