Passionflix has released the first official trailer for the upcoming vampire romance series, The Black Dagger Brotherhood, based on the #1 NYT bestselling series by J.R. Ward. The series is set to premiere on the streaming service from Tosca Musk on June 5th, but you can watch the first official trailer right now, below.
Starring Robert Maaser and Olivia Applegate, the first season of the soon-to-be-a-hit drama will focus on Wrath (Maaser) and Beth (Applegate), while introducing audiences to the beloved saga.
IMDb lists the synopsis of the series as: “A brotherhood of vampire warriors protects their race from demonic lessers. United by tragedy, the few remaining fighters confront the lessers, striving to restore the vampire realm.” But with Passionflix backing the series, one can only assume this season will be steamy af.
Watch the trailer for The Black Dagger Brotherhood, then tune in the series on June 5th.
