Under the Ice is a super sweet hockey romance about Logan (FMC) who fake dates her hockey playing roommate Quinton as a means to show her cheater ex-bf understand they’re really over.
Since I had not read the previous book in this series, there were definitely times when I felt like there’s more context to the story I was missing, but not enough that I didn’t enjoy and fully understand Logan and Q’s romance.
Adorably, the spice felt authentic for college students and the banter mage me fall in love with these characters even more. But perhaps my favorite aspect of Under the Ice was Logan’s adorable ramblings and the solid relationship she has with her bestie.
Received ARC for honest review.
