BOOKS: When Hearts Collide (The Orchid #2) by Victoria Lum – Review via GoodLittleLibraryMouse

When Hearts Collide seems like it’s going to be a straightforward teacher/student romance, but this book was an unexpectedly layered read. As my first book from this author, I was completely unprepared for the level of angst and tension that wove through Millie and Ryland’s story. This being book 2 in the series, it’s obvious that some details for Ryland’s billionaire family and The Orchid, were explored in the first book, but there was plenty of context provided allowing first time readers to enjoy and follow along.
