GBK Celebrate the Grammy Awards with a Luxury Gifting Lounge

Musical artists from around the globe are gathering this weekend for the Grammy Awards, and GBK is honoring them with a luxury gifting lounge.

Along with many Musical Artists themselves, such as Grammy Nominee Jazz Instrumentalist Tia Fuller, in attendance, a bit of Musical Royalty arrived STK at the W Hotel in Westwood, including 3 times Grammy winner Terri Lyne Carrington and Aretha Franklin’s grandson Jordan Franklin.

One of the biggest draws at the event was Lucky Soul who supplied attendees with CBD infused water, and presented samples of their CBD infused wellness products, like lip balm and their hemp infused kinesiology tape. In addition to selling wellness products, Lucky Soul’s mission also includes helping those in need, “the purchase of every product sold, you can help us grant wishes for children with life-threatening diseases through Make-A-Wish.”

Also from the cannabis world, The Cure Company collaborated with rapper Nipsey Hussle to produce an exclusive strain called Marathon OG, which is available for purchase in DTLA.

Beauty and comfort was also a big draw at the event, including Jewelry brand Fortune & Frame who create gold fortune cookie necklaces, Equality Goods who create bracelets with a cause. Equality Goods’ provide a wearable symbol of liberty and justice, assembled by refugees resettling in America.

As for relaxation, Silverite showed off their Perfect Bed Pillow. The pillow is filled with Kapok, a natural fiber that is sustainable, eco-friendly and water/pest resistant. Kapok feels like cashmere and is hypoallergenic, can easily be added or removed from the pillow to adjust harness to your comfort level. The Silverite pillow comes in a silver-infused 100% cotton pillow case which maintains a healthy sleep environment.

Comfort was also the mission for Pashion Footwear, a new brand with a revolutionary product that converts heels to flats instantly. The kickstarted line will be available Spring 2019.

Additional beauty products were Korean beauty brand Ruby Cell who showed off their “Airbrush Ampoule System for lifting, smoothing, pore minimizing, collagen regenerating, moisturizing and wrinkle reducing without the side effects of Botox.” As a gift, attendees received Ruby-Cell’s Intensive 4U Mist.

Since music was on everyone’s mind, one of the coolest companies in attendance was headphone brand 1More whose mission is to make sure music lovers of all ages and means can enjoy music the way it was intended to be heard by the artists themselves, “by transcending industry standards through revolutionary innovation, design and quality.” On display at GBK’s Luxury Lounge were their Triple-Driver Blue Tooth in ear headphones as well as their over-ear wired version.
