From the people behind Tangled, Disney’s new musical winter classic Frozen stars the voice of Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars) as fearless optimist Anna who sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Glee alum Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose [secret] icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter.

The story might seem a bit… bland… at first, but after you mix in some beautiful winter scenery + catchy and fun musical arrangements + quirky sidekicks Sven the reindeer and snowman Olaf (voice of Josh Gad), + a hint of Disney magic = you create an instant favorite!

Recently Disney has begun films with a tragedy (Finding Nemo, Up) and Frozen is no different. After meeting sisters Anna and Elsa as toddlers, we watch them lose their parents and drift apart as they grow into young women. On the night the kingdom doors are opened and a ball takes place, Anna finds “True Love” and Elsa accidentally curses the kingdom with an eternal winter.

Elsa flees and creates her own (beautiful) castle made of ice. [Elsa also makes herself a new gorgeous gown… it’s clearly made of fabric but was born from ice…???] Instinctively, Anna chases after Elsa but meets Kristoff, an adorable mountain man who sells ice for a living, and his sidekick reindeer Sven. Anna, clearly having no problem trusting strangers, jumps into Kristoff’s sled and together they set off to find Elsa.

On their journey, Anna and Kristoff pick up snowman Olaf, who dreams of feeling summer. No one has the heart to tell him what happens to snowmen in summer. When they reach Elsa’s castle, Anna begs her sister to undo the curse only to discover that she doesn’t know how to. As tension mounts, Elsa accidentally shoots ice into Anna’s heart, which will freeze her if not dealt with immediately….

If you want to know how Anna is cured and the kingdom is saved, make sure YOU hit the theaters on November 27th 2013 to see Disney’s Frozen. Still not sold? Check out the trailer below… then head to the theaters on Thanksgiving Day!
