FIRST LOOK: 2013 Summer Movie Season – Iron Man 3, Star Trek: Into Darkenss, Man of Steel and More!

It’s ‘Summer Blockbuster Season’ & this year includes a lof of big budget action flicks! Make sure you know when the movies are hitting theaters, ’cause you don’t want to be that ONE person in your office who hasn’t seen the biggest movie of the summer! 


Check out the handy guide below for all the hit movies you don’t want to miss!





Iron Man 3 – Now Playing! 
Robert Downey Jr. returns for the final Iron Man installment from Marvel, alongside Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts), Don Cheadle (Col. James Rhodes), and Sir Ben Kingsley (The Mandarin). 












The Great Gatsby – May 10
Leonardo DiCaprio takes on the classic novel in this beautiful Baz Luhrmann creation. Carey Mulligan, Toby McGuire, and Joel Edgerton also appear. 











Star Trek: Into Darkness – May 17 (UPDATE: Opens Wednesday, May 15th)
Chris Pine & Zachary Quinto reprise their roles as Capt. Kirk & Spock (respectively) in the highly anticipated Star Trek sequel with Sherlock’s Benedict Cumberbatch as the villain. 












The Hangover, Part 3 – May 24 (UPDATE: Opens Wednesday, May 23rd)
The Wolfpack is together again and headed to Vegas. Can Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis continue to make us laugh a third time? 














Man of Steel – June 14
Superman’s latest incarnation puts Henry Cavill in the iconic tights and cape. Zack Snyder is directing, so at the very least ,the movie will be pretty. 












Monsters University – June 21
The Monsters Inc prequel we’ve all been waiting for takes us back to when Mike (voiced by Billy Crystal) & Sully (voiced by John Goodman) met. 













World War Z – June 21
Tom Cruise stars in an action packed movie about Zombies – meanwhile, no one cares about Zombies anymore. Thanks, Tom. 













Despicable Me 2 – July 3
Steve Carell lends his voice to the villainous Gru in the sequel to 2010’s adorable animated flick, Despicable Me. Bring the whole family, ’cause the little girls are adorable and everyone loves the minions. 












The Wolverine – July 26
Hugh Jackman dons the wolverine claws again as his origins tale continues. Prepare to see familiar faces as well as plenty of new ones as The Wolverine trains in Japan.
